Christmas For Everyone Mission Statement
Christmas For Everyone is a volunteer organization, serving people in need during the Christmas season in Contra Costa County for 38 years. Our Goal is that no one spends Christmas this most special of all holidays alone or in need.
What we do:
Volunteers provide free transportation to and from the host church. Each person receives a new gift, and almost new clothing. We serve a Traditional Christmas meal, provide entertainment for both children and adults. Food and a gift can be delivered to the homebound upon request.
History:
Since 1985, CFE has been helping the working poor in Contra Costa County. We work with all service agencies in our county to provide help to as many families as possible. We are a true volunteer organization whereas no one receives a paycheck for the work they do.

Christmas for Everyone (CFE) was started in 1984, We are a nonprofit volunteer organization serving the working poor, homebound, lonely & needy. Our goal is that no one in Contra Costa County should go hungry, be without a present, or be alone on Christmas day, the most special of all holidays
Through the generosity of local businesses, churches, and others in our community, Christmas For Everyone provides a Christmas experience for over 2,000 people. Our guests are treated to the compassion and kindness we all deserve.
Every year, free transportation door to door is provided. Each person gets a warm, traditional Christmas dinner, a new gift, the choice of some lightly used clothing, and many, many smiles and wishes for a wonderful holiday from the cheerful volunteers. Volunteers run children’s activities, sing carols, serve coffee to those waiting in lines, cook and serve the meals, give haircuts, paint children’s faces, hold babies so the parents can pick out clothing, etc. Shut-ins receive their meal and gift from a warm and caring person who will give an extra little gift …the gift of spending a little time talking with them.
